WHAT IS THE BACK TO FITNESS PROGRAM?
This is a physiotherapy based exercise program developed for individuals looking to begin an exercise program, but have a current or pre-existing injury that is preventing them from getting started or fully participating in exercise sessions. The ‘Back to Fitness Program’ has been designed to help you recover from your injury and get back to your fitness routine.
This program begins with detailed physiotherapy orthopaedic assessment. Based on your injury, if your therapist determines the best plan of care involves a structured, guided, rehabilitation exercise program, an exercise based plan of care will be created between the physiotherapist and DEPTH trainer. In this setting, our trainers function as physiotherapy assistants are highly experienced at guiding you through your physiotherapists exercise plan. The exercise based sessions help provide appropriate strength training based on your specific injury needs.
The goal of this program is to assess, treat and train according to your current physical status and restrictions. At the end of this program you should feel confident knowing you have the knowledge, tools and resources to return to your fitness routine in a safe and effective manner.
